DH Toonie for July 28th: Thanks to everyone for coming out to the second mystery round of the season, Plural of Nemesis. It was nothing short of eventful as the trail put more than a couple of us through our paces. HUGE THANKYOU to James, Ryan, Chris and the team down at the Watershed grill, many were calling it the best event of the season! Nice work guys and thankyou again!

The next DH will be May 5, Sign up at top of Meet Yer Maker in Valleycliffe. Sign on begins at 5:30 but racers can sign on until the last rider goes. The race will be down Meet Yer Maker with racing beginning 6:00 pm.

The SORCA Social Ride will meet at th eyellow gate in Valleycliffe, corner of Raven Plateau development, intersection of Westway and Plateau. Sign up 5:45 pm. We're doing Fartherside in reverse.

Must be a SORCA member.

SORCA is pleased to announce that we have received a $100,000 grant for a new downhill trail and for upgrades and maintenance of established trails; with the moneys coming from both the federal and provincial governments (see September 2, 2009 press release).  SORCA also received 10 responses to our request for expression of interest for trail upgrade and maintenance work.  Seven applicants were accepted and will be starting work in the near future.
