SORCA Announce Week of August 10
It is with great pleasure and excitement that I share with you the plans
for one of SORCA's biggest events of the year, the 2009 Volunteer Party.
With even greater success this year then last, we are having to change a
few things; first cutoff to be at the 2009 vollie party is Aug 16th. The
SORCA exec is sorry to have a cutoff but with over a 140 vollies the exec
needs time to organize gifts/food. So please go to the SORCA webpage
(vollie page) and see if your name is on the list if its not and you
vollied at one of SORCA's 10 trail day or helped at one of the many
races/rides, please contact volunteer@sorca.ca and tell the race/event you
help with. Deadline for this is Aug 18th. Also with the huge number of
vollies it will be only for the vollie this means unfortunately no kids,
spouses and dogs please. Also new this year we are doing a fundraiser for
the party/race; a non perishable food drive for the Squamish Food Bank. So
to race and/ or get into the party you must bring a non perishable good
please.
Also there is a select number of vollies needed for the party please

This weeks dh has been changed due to weather.
Now Plural of Nemesis
Where starts at the beginning of Crouching Squirrel
Hidden Monkey and then heads over to Plural.
Sign on at 5:30 pm
Race at 6:00 pm
Bbq to follow.
Social Ride
Where Alice Lake
Meet at the top yellow gate (the one close to park rangers station).
Ride up and do Rob's and Cliff's corners, down Mashiter to Roller Coaster
to Perth then back onto the Mashiter and across to Jack's and back to the
cars at the parking lot near the yellow gate.
Sign on at 5:30
Ride starts at 6:15pm.
