SORCA would like to thank all of the volunteers who contributed to the
clubs events in 2009! SORCA hosted over 40 events this year and had
unbelievable huge amount of people volunteering and giving back to SORCA
and the Squamish biking community.

The over 180 vollies are invited on Wednesday September 2 you are invited , to this years vollie race/party.

Where: if you are on the vollie list ( check list at www.sorca.ca
/volunteer tab) sign in on Wednesday between 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm at the cul
de sac about Quest university. For the Race and party.

Please bring a non-perishable food item as a good luck token for the
evening.

Sign in at race sign on, you will receive a wrist band and location of the
secret location for the after party.

A few details:
BYOB - your clubs insurance condition.
bring a chair, no glass, no dogs

Prizes: just like last year, the SORCA executive have gathered prizes for
this years vollie party. Your name is entered for every time you have
volunteered for your club this year. One prize per person/ have to been in
attendance to win.

The Vollie Race
the course is as follows.
? Start at the little cul de sac just above Quest
? Climb Diamond head Rd to Darwin's bridge
? Up the bottom of the RIP
? Down top half of Plunge
? Climb to hoodz in the woods
? Down Hoodz
? Down poop alley
? Across Carpenter's sons bridge
? Along mulch alley
? Finish at climb to Quest bridge

SORCA Community Bike Race For Kids

All kids who enjoy biking are invited to participate regardless of skill
level. September 19, Brackendale Elementary School. Field Skills Course for
ages 5 and under. Trail Race for ages 7 and under, 8-9, 10-11, and 12-13.
Race Registration 2:00 - 3:00 pm. $5 per child includes race, insurance and
BBQ Race starts at 3:00 pm. Parents or guardians must be present during the
race and at sign up. Open to all, SORCA membership not required.
