TOONIE RACE: Wednesday, July 22nd sponsored by Callaghan Winter Sports Clubs, Rockwell’s Bar & Grill, and Save-on Foods.
Location: top of Perth Sign on: 5:30 p.m. Start: 6:30 p.m. Course:
See below After Party: Rockwell’s (Garibaldi Springs Hotel) with
‘pay’ bar.
I. Lowe
The course will be starting at the end of Perth, it will then go up
the MASHITER TRAIL, to RAY'S CAFE, and then up the road (parallel to
Cliff's corners), turning right at the SORCA Shelter as the course
then goes to ED'S BY-PASS but entering at the middle of ED'S (service
road that cuts through the trail). The course will then go down the
NEW ROCK N ROLL to DEAD END LOOP and onto the BOB McINTOSH MEMORIAL
TRAIL, to TRACKS FROM HELL, to MASHITER TRAIL heading down to
ROLLERCOASTER, after ROLLERCOASTER, the FINISH will be at the top of
Perth Drive (hang a right after you finish ROLLERCOAST).
This will be a relatively easy course as the GearJammer is on the
weekend so this course will be a great primer for the weekend.
Downhill Race: Wednesday, July 29th. Meet: Upper Powersmart Sign on:
