XC Toonie for May 26th
Sign-in: 5:30pm at Ring Creek North FSR turnoff (by exit of Half
Nelson)
Start: race start at 6:15pm
Course: Start at the “Ring Creek North FSR” turnoff (by exit of
Half Nelson). Up the FSR road past the Sorca shelter and up to the
entrance to Angry Midget (4min past the Recycle/Half Nelson entrance).
Enjoy “Angry Midget” then back up the “Ring Creek North FSR”
to “Pseudo Tsuda”. Enjoy the 3 sections of “Pseudo Tsuda” and
out to the Garibaldi Park road via “Flat Alley”. Down the road to
Quest University, then half way up the road to the Library finishing
in the Public lot half way up the hill.
Après: location to be announced at race. There will be meals
available for non-participants for $7.

Trail Work Update
The Test of Metal Trail Crew is starting work on the course this week,
and will continue over the next 3 weeks. For safety reasons, and for
the longevity of the trail work, please do your best to avoid these
trails on these dates:
- Jack's Trail - May 26th to 28th
- The Plunge - May 31st to June 2nd
- Rollercoaster - June 3rd to 4th
Wonderland
Dream Wizards Events will be working on the lower 2/3rd of Wonderland
every Saturday (ongoing).
Volunteers are much appreciated and always welcome... come lend a hand
on one of the best beginner trails in the valley!
Another Man's Gold
SORCA Trail Day - Sunday May 30th. Meet us @ 10am at the Ring Creek
FSR turnoff (the end of Half Nelson). An old-school classic that is in
desperate need of some love, especially now that Half Nelson shoots
straight into it! Coffee and goodies provided by Bean Around the World
in Brackendale.
