SORCA Super D and Uphill Challenge: Last Wednesday Race of 2019!
Get ready to see colours and puke – we are doing one mean and nasty Uphill Challenge up Debecks hill, followed by the quintessential Squamish descent of Crouching Squirrel as our Super D stage.
It’s your last wednesday night to get your race on before we wrap up with the Super Cinco on Saturday!
Come out and see your race friends before everyone falls into seasonal depression or enters into winter hibernation and disappears (or if you’re Eric Goodwin, waxes the nordic skis and continues to get even fitter).
Commencal Canada is sponsoring this event, so you know the party is going to be lit (are the kids still saying that?)!
They’re also the place to go for everything bikes, from run bikes for kids to DH weapons to….dare I say it….eBikes – 20 solid years of making bikes, these guys know about how to make a good two-wheeled machine.
Norman Rudy’s has pretty much been our numero uno Cinco sponsor this year, so it’s fitting they are also sponsoring our last wednesday night party – don’t forget about them once the off season arrives! Grab a down jacket, toque and mittens and enjoy a frosty beverage on the patio while watching the frost melt on the old golf course this fall.

Registration will run from 5:45-6:15pm at the farthest south parking lot at Alice Lake. Please do not park at Alice Lake; after party will be at Norman Rudy’s so you can park off Tantalus and ride Jacks as a warm up.
Uphill challenge will start at the yellow gate at the bottom of Debecks.
Uphill stage start will be open from 6:00pm to 6:15pm (cut off to start race is 6:15).
We’re racing daylight now, so don’t forget to bring backup lights (especially if you’re riding home from the afterparty!).
Bring your $5 to the afterparty, plus warm layers!
As usual, we need volunteers to help with timing, marshalling and sweep.
Email [email protected] if you are able to help out.
