Trail Crew Manager/Lead builder position
SORCA is actively recruiting for our Trail Crew Manager & Lead Builder role. This is a very important role for the organization as it manages our Trail Crew as well as handles all facets of maintaining, building, and contractor relations.
This hands-on management position is ideal for someone with a passion for mountain biking and substantial sustainable trail-building expertise. The positive-minded individual must have a priority for wilderness safety and be able to lead and mentor our driven Trails Crew.

March 15th’s dig day on Entrails marked the first of many chances for you to come and get your hands dirty on the trails in 2023. ![]()
Our members spoke, and we listened: you want more opportunities and fewer barriers to build and help maintain our incredible trail network. With that in mind, we created a packed dig day schedule for 2023 with 19+ dig days scheduled throughout the year. ![]()
In an effort to foster inclusivity and remove barriers to entry, we are introducing women-led led, youth-friendly, and beginner-level dig days this season as well! ![]()

We have our second Dig Day of 2023 supported by @squamish_enduro slated for this Saturday, April 1st! All ability levels are welcome, no trail-building experience is required! We will be working to improve drainage and do some tread repair on 'Your Mom'. ![]()

Registration for the SORCA Spring Tune-Up is now live!
Between Mar 25th and April 9th SORCA invites you to get out on the trails for Squamish’s first Spring Tune-Up ride and fundraiser for the Howe Sound Women’s Center! Envisioned by local shredder Laura Battista and supported by 7mesh and Corsa Cycles, SORCA has brought to life a virtual event encouraging some early-season riding time for a good cause.
This challenge is meant to get you out on the trails for either a 20km Super ride (mostly blues/greens) or the 50km Mega ride, which is a much more challenging course!![]()
You must complete and record the entirety of the course in one day on Trailforks to get the badge and secure an entry for a chance to win one of 10 Corsa & 7mesh prize packs!

We recently received word from BC Hydro that they will be mowing the area within their right-of-way (some of which is pictured here). This will result in intermittent closures of Rob's and Cliff's Corners, access to Man Boobs and the top of Rock & Roll as of next week for two weeks. ![]()
