Social #10 – Hosted by Sea to Sky Welding

Sea to Sky Welding is hosting our last mountain bike* Social Ride of the year. This ride is focused on getting younger and newer riders out to have some fun! Parent/guardian accompaniment is required. Please sign up for one of four ride groups – three rides are capped at 20 riders, and the fourth is capped at 40 riders, the event is capped at 100 participants. Please choose a ride that’s within your limits, and enjoy a chill ride and pace. Ride group hosts are not there to provide coaching, they are solely helping facilitate the ride. Island Oasis will be at the Quest University gravel parking lot (on Village Drive and Mamquam Rd) to serve tasty and refreshing treats, along with Treat Squamish brownies post-ride! A big thank you goes out to Sea to Sky Welding who have stepped up to host multiple events this season! Thanks guys!

Ride Start Time: 6 pm (no check-in required)
Après Start Time: 6:45-7 pm (check-in pre-registered riders and day-of registrants required)

Start at Garibaldi Highlands Elementary
Mellow Ride:
Mike Weeks Trail – Great for run-bikers and our youngest rippers. A nice mellow 1km trail that goes around Garibaldi Highlands Elementary. Approximate ages 3-5. Capped at 20 riders.

Little-Thrill Ride A: Rollercoaster – Great for those wanting a bit of extra challenge and thrill. Approximate ages 8-12 or intermediate riders. Capped at 20 riders.

Start at the end of Pia Rd.
Chill Ride: Glen’s Carwash (multiple laps) – Great option for kids that are comfortable on pedal bikes and starting to spend more time on singletrack trails. Approximate ages 5+ or older riders who are just starting out. Capped at 20 riders.

Start at Half Nelson parking lot
Little-Thrill Ride B: Ring Creek Rd to Half Nelson – Add some extra spice to our little shredders who have already done trails Fools Gold or Rollercoaster, a little extra climbing, but worth the reward! Approximate ages 10-12 or strong intermediate riders. Capped at 40 riders.
