SORCA Social #5 – Hosted by Dialed In Cycling, Optomeyes Eyecare, Race & Co. and Sea to Sky Veterinary Clinic

Dialed In Cycling, Optomeyes – Eyecare, Race & Co., and Sea to Sky Veterinary Clinic are excited to be hosting the SORCA social next Wednesday, June 22nd. We have dispersed the start locations to keep our impact low on other community members.

We encourage new SORCA members to come out and socialize on this ride with easier options for those new to mountain biking. Please sign up for 1 of 5 ride groups, with a maximum of 40 riders per group, or just join in for the “Après Only” option (max. extra 100 people). Rides start at 5:45 pm and the après start at 7:00 pm.

The chill ride is a great opportunity to get to know the beginner trail network with a group of people. Have a friend in Squamish who is new to the sport? This is the social for them!

Our intermediate ride will explore some Squamish slab on LOA and a classic exit on Rollercoaster. The women’s ride will explore a long time classic, Entrails, with extended play time heading over to Two Stroke Smoke!

The two thrill rides provide great options to have some conversations with new friends and still get to the après in a good amount of time (both of these rides bring you straight to the après location).

All of the sponsors are excited about bringing the community together to ride and socialize. Après will have kid friendly food options as we encourage families to come join in on the fun 🙂

Matthew Van Oostdam is inviting Charlene Williams to share some words and a welcome/share song or two to send off the riders at the Chill Ride start (10-20 mins).
