Celebrating SORCA’s 31st-anniversary annual scavenger hunt ride is back! This is a virtual ride where SORCA members use graphic clues of each trail (drawn by volunteers) to figure out the names of the trails and create their routes to find as many selected trails as possible over the weekend of September 22nd/23rd. This year we have selected 6 riding areas around Squamish. Take a selfie with every sign in one area and you will be entered in our prize draw! Every riding zone completed will give you another entry in the draw for an awesome prize donated by local brands and businesses! There will be a very special prize awarded to anyone silly enough to complete all 31 Trails!
There will be a volunteer poster painting party on Wednesday, September 20th, from 5:30 pm -to 8:30 pm at Locavore for those who want to take part in some creative crafts! Kids are more than welcome! On Thursday, September 21st, we will release images of all the awesome posters to the public via newsletter and Social Media so that people can decipher the clues/signs and try to plan their routes accordingly. These posters will be the hints to the specific trail names. Large creative trail posters (that you cannot miss) will be posted somewhere along each of the trails in the wee hours before the sun rises on Saturday, September 23. You’ll have two days to ride as many trails as you can! There will be an après event where we will hand out prizes and there will be pizza and pop available by donation at the Adventure Centre, 5:30 pm onward! Click the event notice below to find out more!
