Tour de Squamish - September 14th!
After a successful return for our 30th anniversary in 2022, the Tour de Squamish is back for its third year in 2024! The September 14th race and season-long series wrap-up is supported by Free Bird Squamish and Red Truck Beer Company! This year, the format will be three-person relay teams with a trail run, down-country XC and two-stage enduro legs. There will be prizes for the top teams in each category and some ‘spirit’ prizes for the teams that embrace the TDS culture. Registration is now open! The name ‘Tour De Squamish’ commemorates SORCA’s long-time Trails Director and friend, Chris McCrum, who passed away on January 3, 2019. Chris organized a brutally difficult group ride for two years called ‘Tour De Squamish' until it was significantly shortened and reborn as ‘BVOD’ (Beyond the Valleycliffe of the Dolls).
